Technical Site Help Needed

I need help. Because often the small things in life bug the heck out of me until I can figure them out.Do I use www in my url or not? Why do images load perfectly with the www in the url, but not when there is no www? Oh, the frustration and irritation!

Here’s my problem:

If someone visits The BlaBla Blog from a link (or directly I suppose) that excludes the www in the URL, the site loads but the images in posts and the sidebar do not. Or rather, some do and some don’t. Sometimes. It’s all rather irregular, but is definitely more noticeable in the side bar area.

This happens for example whenever we get a visitor from Yahoo where, for some unknown reason, the site address is listed as http://blabla.co.za sans the www bit.

Try it from the link above and you’ll see what I mean.

If you follow a link that includes the www, (as in http://www.blabla.co.za) the page loads perfectly, with all the images displayed. Except in IE bizarrely the sidebar icon for subscribing via email (the envelope icon) often doesn’t load at all, but that’s another issue I think.

So, internet html coding guru types, help a brother out here. Why does this happen? And what can I do to fix it?

See, I told you – small things tend to irritate me sometimes.
