Sharlto Copley Joining Alien Film ‘I Am Number Four’

Another South African making us prouder & prouder!

Hollywood Reporter/Heat&Vision Blog is reporting that:

Sharlto Copley, the little-known South African actor who shot to fame in "District 9," is in talks to topline "I Am Number Four," DreamWorks’ adaptation of the upcoming young-adult science fiction book by James Frey and Jobie Hughes.

Sharlto Copley rocks SA! I assume that “topline” is movie speak for “the main dude, the lead role actor”? DreamWorks is the Spielberg studio, and I Am Number Four, an alien teen flick that is being directed by D.J. Caruso, will be produced by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg (talk about bringing out the big guns!)

We here at The BlaBla Blog are huge supporters of Sharlto ever since we learned of his involvement in ‘District 9’ and more recently in ‘The A-Team” movie releasing soon. We’ll carry on following his rise to stardom and hopefully will be able to bring you more info in the weeks to come.

In the interim, you can track news about Sharlto directly on his profile at IMDB.
