The MTN SAMA17 event will be held over the weekend of the 20 and 21 May in a showcase hosted by the new SAMA venue partners Montecasino in Fourways, Johannesburg. The full list of nominees up for awards this year was released by RiSA/SAMA at the same venue earlier this evening.

    “Hi everybody ticket information will be made very soon. As you know we are moving to a new venue, making more opportunities then ever before, so please be patient. Voting for the song of the year will be up shortly.”

  3. I’d like to know who to contact in terms of having a stand on both nights. Our client is sponsoring and I have no idea who to call in terms of rules and regulations – nowhere on the site is there any contact information.

  4. I’d like to know which system ur using to nominate coz ay some artist that deserve da nomination are not there…its not the 1st time this is happening(especially hip hop category)

  5. i dont know y u guys never nominate cameroonian artists are we not part of africa and in addition we are bilingual but y our artist never get nominated we are de second best in afrobeat music after nigeria many good musician and legends all over de world come from cameroon but i have seen all the awards but no cameroonian has ever taken an award especially an anglophone but i hope dis new year 2012 things are going to change.pls i need u guys to encourage the young upcoming anglophone musicians in cameroon,we have musicians like Excel,Sine winner of africas star 2008 and Jovi who i know is going to be de best africa rapper come 2012 pls dis guy is gr8t he is more than MI he just drop his albulm dis december pls u guys check it is titled HIV with songs like don for kwat,coffin.fik fik fok,koh koh.u can check dis on u tube and u will see that afrobeats in cameroon has gone to another level and we are back in de game ,we will keep up till de end.i will like to congratulate u guys for what u have been doing for musicians in africa just keep up .but u guys have to check out what cameroonian artist are doing.thanks
