(Now updated with Group Standings after Round 2)

Here’s a copy of the SABC1 broadcast schedule for all of the FIFA Confederations Cup matches for those without the luxury of DSTV and PVR.

The original listing on the SABC1 site doesn’t make things completely clear, so we are assuming that the first time indicated is the start of the broadcast, whilst the second is the scheduled kick-off time.

Note that the final group games (on Saturday and Sunday) are both played at the same time. Not sure which of them SABC1 will broadcast – presumably they will cover the Bafana match on the Saturday… {*Edit: Just found out that the other two games will be shown on SABC3 at the same time – so we can do a bit of channel hopping!}

  1. Hi guys – thanks for this. tried to find it on the SABC site and got way confused. yours helps a lot, and is easy to follow too.

    • Pleasure is all ours JT

  2. Hi guys you trying unfortunately New Zeland they need to work hard. i like u guys never give up or lose hope keep on try u wil me it.

    • Agreed Gothusamang! Both South Africa and New Zealand are going to have an uphill badly in order to reach the last 4.

  3. Brazil vs. Egypt was an excellent game – best of the tournament so far.

    Kaka lived up to his reputation as one of the best. The Egyptians played solid football, especially in the 2nd half, and came back from 1-3 down to 3-3 until the very end of the match.

    90th minute saw a silly hand-ball in the box resulting in Brazils’ match winning penalty. The Italians are going to need to be careful of the Pharaohs – they could upset the party for them…

  4. Thats good for you Egpty guys, u did a wonderful jod.. i could'nt believe that u can beat that powerful and more experienced team like Italy. what i can say is that game game u lost against Brasil it was just by mistake for that pernalty but next tme guys u wil make it.
