Madonna celebrates new MDNA album with Super Bowl show & a new single – Give Me All Your Luvin’
She’s Back! Perennial Queen of Pop Madonna is back to reclaim her throne from the usurpers and pretenders to her throne (Gaga, Katy I’m looking at you!)
At 53, Ms Ciconne-Penn-Ritchie has a career spanning longer than many of her fans have been alive, and yet still manages to stay in touch with all things popular music- and style-wise.
Invited to perform the traditional halftime concert at yesterdays’ Super Bowl XLVI (that’s “46” for the non-Romans) game in Indianapolis, Madonna thrilled the stadium crowd (and the millions watching on television) with an elaborate high-energy and guest-heavy show.
Featuring a crew of cheerleader dancers supported by performers from Cirque du Soleil, Madge had Cee Lo Green, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. appear on stage with her during the show. She’s sexy and she knows it! (Pics from the show can be seen here: MTV.com)
She also used the opportunity to promote her new album (titled MDNA) and launched the video for the first single “Give Me All Your Luvin’”, which has a distinct football theme running through it, last Friday.
The new album, due out globally on 26 March, is already available for pre-order purchase from iTunes. And it too looks like it’ll keep the young pop punters happy with it’s NSFW “Explicit Content” label and song titles which include “Gang Bang”, “Addicted”, “I Don’t Give A”, “I’m a Sinner” and “I F****d Up”!

Ah Maddie – still putting the Mother in MILF and giving hope to 50-year olds the world over!
