  1. WEll not many are using it. well expecially from SA. Thats my experience.

Well its a glorified live chat.
THe beauty that I think sells Wave, is the ability to do live online collaboration.
DM me your Wave contact addy, I will add you to my wave contact list. Then we can play.

Check out my blog post on Google Wave http://www.integralwebsolutions.co.za/Blog/EntryId/421/Google-Wave-collaboration-on-steroids.aspx

Mashable also has a nice article on Wave: http://mashable.com/2009/05/28/google-wave-guide/

  2. Hey there. I also have Google Wave and I think it will be best seen in practice once more people are on it and using it. As Robert says, it is for live collaboration.

  3. Thanks for the invite Voted. Now I am as confused as you are.

That said though, I was a little proactive, and visit a couple of the links from Roberts' post (Ta for that RB!) Haven't entirely got my head around it yet though, but think it could be quite successful as a collaboration tool, dependent on the numbers of people, friends, colleagues, co-workers, etc. that you are waving with.

Also, out of sheer curiosity, I Googled the word "wave". Guess what comes out tops when searching for such a simple term?

If you search for the same word on Bing, you get absolutely no sign of a Google site at all.

    Coincidence?

  4. times like this i hate still being stuck in the dark ages – dial up.
