Friday Photo 27: Fly the Flag Friday

[Not sure why this post never made it out yesterday evening as it was scheduled to. I guess sometimes stuff just happens.]

I my ongoing efforts to support Voteds! efforts to completely redecorate every News24 blog page with the South African flag, here’s another picture taken during our Ama-Zing Race outing recently.

It was shot outside the magnificent Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, where both the opening and closing matches of the 2010 Fifa World Cup will take place. And its’ huge.

  1. I love the South African flag – it really is one of the most eye-catching and colorful national flags around. You guys should be very proud of it.

  2. It is such a powerful color. And so symbolic of some the stronger emotions – love, anger, passion, danger.

Would like to see the full stadium as well.
