Diski Dance

We spent Heritage Day at the cricket in Centurion. When I say “we” I mean the family and I. We took my father-in-law as a birthday present to see South Africa whip the New Zealand asses! Nothing better than a bit of “stick it to them”.

Anyway, the South African Tourism people were obviously promoting the “2010 thing” that’s going to happen (I refuse to call it by its registered and commission-laden name). They have come up with a South African line dance mimicking some “Shibobo“.

The dance that is being promoted to get everyone excited is very cool! Try have a look at the website. Just click on “Learn the Diski Dance”.

It would be cool if we got involved and learnt a couple of moves. After all we have not really put in an effort to learn the National Anthem. But, that’s for another post!

  1. I agree, lets learn the moves! I however, will have to start from scratch, even though I was also at the game, I was trying to convince my very drunk "friend with benefits " that she too, should consider a career as an estate agent!

    Ditto on the national anthem!
