Blink Stefanus Wins Gold Pendoring Award
We were very pleased to receive news this morning that Stefanus Nel and his Baie-Lingual Blink Stefanus agency won a prestigious Gold Pendoring Award this past weekend for his maverick “Man trou met Logo” (“Man marries Logo”) campaign.
The annual Pendoring Awards is the only competition of its kind that focuses on the promotion of outstanding Afrikaans advertising, undoubtedly the best vehicle to speak directly to the heart and minds of Afrikaans-speaking consumers. Established in 1994 by all the leading Afrikaans media role players, it focuses on promoting and rewarding outstanding Afrikaans advertising. As such, Pendoring has grown into a prestigious event on the advertising calendar since its inception with considerable cash prizes for category winners, bursaries for students and a study tour abroad for the Prestige Award winner.
Blink Stefanus received their award in the category for Experiential Marketing: Direct Marketing & Promotions, which saw them up against three other nominated campaigns.
Long-term readers of The BlaBla Blog will know that we had the pleasure of working with Blink and Stefanus in helping to publicise and promote their wedding held on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. Since then, the happy couple have gone on honeymoon, and settled into domestic bliss in a quite suburb in Northern Johannesburg.
